"We buy local first!"
We look first to our local farm partners when crafting each week's fresh produce box. Here's a bit more about them. If you want more information about a particular farm just shoot us an email. We're always happy to answer questions!
Stemilt Growers is a family owned tree fruit company based in Wenatchee, Washington. Owned and operated by the Mathison family, Stemilt grows, packs, ships, and markets fresh apples, pears, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and apricots.
Started in 1964 Tom Mathison founded Stemilt with the belief that customer should beable to access straight from the orchard fresh fruit. His grandson West runs the company now. We are proud to work with a family owned business that puts their produce quality first.
Van Vuren Farm
Van Vuren Farm is a small family farm located just south of Carnation, WA in the Snoqualmie River valley. Luke Van Vuren farms in a way that supports and cares for nature, while providing an exciting array of delicious, super-fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and pastured eggs. By delighting in variety and nuance of flavor, every season has something special to offer, and every meal can be an adventure.
The Van Vuren's love what they do. Luke tells us that working together as a family builds a sense of shared purpose and a healthy environment for adults and children to thrive. It has been our pleasure at Pacific Coast Harvest to partner with farmer Luke and enjoy the fruits of his labor.
Tahoma Farms is a 40-acre certified organic veggie farm, growing healthy food for the Puget Sound region on the banks of the Puyallup River.
Established in 2009, they are a first generation farm passionate about growing food and committed to the work that makes our communities stronger, our children healthier, the hungry among us less hungry and our natural environment more livable for generations to come. We have been very blessed to work with farmer Dan and look forward to his high quality crops year round!
Sanford’s Farms is a labor of love and life style started by Jeremy and Angela Sanford along with their 3 children, Morgan, Emmeline and Jeremy Jr. Tilling first in the Spring of 2012, the Sanford family began with several small crops and a few "broiler" chickens. They have since expanded to include numerous leafy greens, a variety of root vegtables, and several kinds of squash.
Their 27 acre farm grows vegetables, herbs and flowers along with the chicken production. Everything on the farm is grown organically, as they are working towards Organic Certification. The family believes in offering a quality local food source that will also encourage people to discover and learn about the farm and its sustainable farming and land management practices.
